I see bunting for sale in catalogs and at craft shows. It can turn any room instantly festive. We use it outdoors at the school I work at on special days and and at booths when we have a table. Teachers have borrowed it to use at home when they’ve hosted baby showers.

If done in rainbow colors you can use it for every holiday. It could also be made in neutrals for a more subtle, sophisticated feel (maybe a wedding reception?) Or made in orange & black for Halloween, or all blues for a blue lover’s bedroom. Whichever color palette you choose it’s a super quick project.

Use scraps or buy some yardage.
Cut into pennant shapes using pinking sheers.
Layout the pennants (spacing is your call but leave room on the end to tie the bunting to something) onto ribbon, or sandwiched between double wide bias tape. Pin in place.
Sew. One long straight stitch will get them all. No need to stop between flags. We don’t have that kinda’ time!

That’s all there is to it. You just saved $20 AND had some fun. That’s always good.
